Larry Ogunjobi can give the Jacksonville Jaguars’ front four a boost.

The Jaguars’ defensive line struggled to pressure opposing quarterbacks and stop teams from running the ball. Their unit needs reinforcements and the draft will offer a few defensive tackle prospects, such as Christian Barmore, worth drafting.

On the other hand, there are some defensive tackles that will hit the open market the Jaguars should consider and Cleveland’s Larry Ogunjobi should be one of them. A third-round selection in 2017’s draft, the Charlotte product has logged 14.5 sacks, 180 total tackles (29 for a loss), and two forced fumbles.

Ogunjobi recently said he wants to keep his options open and is looking forward to hitting the open market. It may be hard for the Browns to keep him and if he becomes a free agent, the Jaguars should kick the tires on him. Defensive tackles DaVon Hamilton and Doug Costin played well and showed promise in their rookie season but the team still needs to add depth.

Defensive end and cornerback may rank higher in Jacksonville’s offseason list, but the team’s brass needs to add somebody to control the line of scrimmage and Ogunjobi will be one of the best options available in free agency.
