The Jacksonville Jaguars can still add talent to their linebacker corps.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have a couple of studs in linebackers Joe Schobert and Myles Jack. However, they need someone else to fill in their linebacker spot, and both the 2021 NFL Draft and the free agency period will offer plenty of options.

You could argue the ‘Jags’ have more pressing needs and you would be absolutely right. Quarterback may at the top of the list, but they will likely use the first overall selection to take Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, so you could basically check off that one. Both the defensive line and the left tackle position could also use an upgrade, but the team is projected to have $73.23 million in cap space and 10 more draft selections besides the top one, so they can address more than a few position groups.

This past season, Jacksonville brought in Schobert even though the team’s brass had other needs. The signing ended up working out pretty well and you won’t find many people that object to it in retrospect. This offseason, they will have the opportunity to fortify their linebacker corps and they shouldn’t pass it up. Here are the best five linebackers they could add in free agency or the draft.
