These two quarterbacks can provide mentorship for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

If you have followed Andy Dalton this year, you may not be excited about the Jaguars pursuing him in the offseason. However, the quarterback’s short tenure with the Dallas Cowboys isn’t a reflection of his whole career as ‘Big D’ is struggling to get anything going on offense and their problems go beyond the quarterback position.

The ‘Red Rifle’ is currently dealing with a concussion and is on the Injured/Reserve List. However, he showed in his time with the Cincinnati Bengals that he’s more than a capable starter when he has a good supporting cast and was even at one point, their franchise quarterback. In his tenure in ‘Cincy’, he started in 133 games, completed 62.0 percent of his passes for 31,594 yards, 204 touchdowns, and 118 interceptions.

Tyrod Taylor has had a very interesting career. Originally a sixth-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens, the Virginia Tech standout began to receive attention when then-NFL head coach Rex Ryan threw praise at him anytime he could.

Although Taylor is far from a top-notch quarterback, he’s a solid starter and has shown more often than not that he can carry a team. In his ten-year career, the veteran has played for four different franchises and is currently a member of the Los Angeles Chargers. He signed a two-year deal with the ‘Bolts’ in 2019 and is set to hit free agency after this season concludes.
