Jacksonville Jaguars vs. San Francisco 49ers: Keep Your Enemies Close – 4 Questions with Golden Gate Sports
By Daniel Lago
4. Who wins and why?
"The 49ers don’t play like a team that is 4-10, especially since they have won three straight and are moving higher in the draft positions. Even after beating a potential playoff team in Tennessee, the 49ers may be brought down to Earth against the Jaguars, but not in a bad way. They’ll have a good game, but not enough to overcome the Jaguars who will steal a road win with a score of 24-20."
My take:
Call me overconfident but I don’t think the game will be that close. If Bortles keeps playing this way, the Jaguars will build a lead early and then cut their pass rushers loose on Jimmy G.
Yes, the Jaguars lost to Blaine Freaking Gabbert a few weeks ago but that’s a loss that I’m sure still lingers on the team’s mind as they find themselves on the outside looking in for a first round bye.
The Jaguars are the better team and they should win, and quite frankly it should be close.
