3. The Joey Bosa contract was the biggest non-story/story over the preseason – is he ready to contribute and should the Jaguars gameplan for him?

"No, he’s not. He missed practice again on Wednesday and reportedly won’t be likely to play in this game. When will he be available? That’s anyone’s guess, but he needs to get out there and contribute soon before his entire rookie season becomes a complete waste."

My take:

The Chargers shocked the world by taking Bosa with the third overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft, but his selection opened the window for the Jaguars to take Jalen Ramsey. The situation has worked out well for the Jaguars so far, but not so much for the Chargers. The contract dispute was a confusing and seemingly unnecessary distraction that has carried over into the regular season, but it’s another break for the Jaguars in a contest that seemingly favors the Jacksonville squad more and more by the day.
