Blake Bortles will finish with 35+ touchdowns: FACT

The Jacksonville Jaguars haven’t been blessed with a high number of productive quarterbacks in their short history, but it’s still inexcusable for them to tout the following embarrassing statistic – the single season passing touchdown record is a gentlemen’s 23, via the arm of David Garrard in 2010. Last year alone, 13 quarterbacks had more than 23 touchdowns!

Thankfully, Blake Bortles has arrived and is on pace to absolutely shatter the mark set by Garrard. Extrapolating his 15 touchdowns over 7 games, Bortles is on pace for 34 touchdowns and I think he surpasses that number. With Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns cooking, the integration of Julius Thomas, and, hopefully, the return of Marqise Lee and Rashad Greene, Bortles has a litany of weapons at his disposal. I expect Bortles to finish with some gaudy numbers and plenty of momentum heading into the offseason.
