In a fashion we’ve become all too accustomed to seeing, the Jacksonville Jaguars built up our hope in the first half before letting us all down in the second half of the opening regular season game. After one of the most dominant defensive performances in recent memory during the first two quarters, the Jaguars offense simply could not stay on the field and gave Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles more than enough chances to get themselves back in the game and ultimately win 34-17.

There’s plenty of blame to go around for the Jaguars blowing a 17-point lead in the most spectacular fashion, so let’s try to narrow it down with the help of our friends over at Pro Football Focus. Let’s take a look at some of the best and worst performers in week 1.
