To help you set your final lineup this weekend, here are my week 9 fantasy football players to start and sit:

Guys to Start:

QB Ben Roethlisberger, PIT (@ NYG) – Everyone is making a big deal about how Pittsburgh has to travel to New York on the day of the game, but the flight is only an hour long. Expect Big Ben and the rest of the Steelers’ offense to come up big this weekend.

RB Darren McFadden, OAK (vs. TB) – Last week the Raiders finally gave McFadden a steady dose of the rock, as he carried the ball 29 times for 114 yards and also grabbed 4 balls for 23 receiving yards. The more times he touches the ball, the more likely he is to break one loose, so expect him to receive another 20-plus touches this weekend.

WR DeSean Jackson, PHI (@ NO) – D-Jack has had 8 or 9 targets in every game this season and has remained a consistent part of the team’s offense despite their recent struggles. The Saints have been unable to stop anyone defensively, so Jackson should be able to get behind the “Who Dat” secondary at least once this weekend.

TE Owen Daniels, HOU (@ BUF) – Daniels is in the middle of a career season and will have a field day against a struggling Buffalo defense.

Guys to Sit:

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, BUF (vs. HOU) – The Texans’ defense is the scariest in the game and will torment Fitzpatrick all afternoon. Expect Fitzpatrick to once again finish the day with more interceptions than touchdowns.

RB Chris Johnson, TEN (vs. CHI) – Johnson may have put together a couple solid games in a row, but expect him to struggle all day against the phenomenal Chicago defense.

WR Dez Bryant, DAL (@ ATL) – Bryant has a very tough matchup against the Falcons and will likely be slowed by a hip injury that he suffered during the last play of the game last weekend.

TE Jermichael Finley, GB (vs. ARI) – Finley has not caught a touchdown since week one or had over 60 receiving yards since week three, so he should remain on the bench until he shows some signs of fantasy life.
