The Jaguars made some big moves on draft day and their receiving corps. just got a lot better. Justin Blackmon, Laurent Robinson, and Mike Thomas should make a formidable group for Blaine Gabbert to grow with. They already have a good defense and the addition of edge rusher Andre branch should make it even better. If MJD plays like MJD should and Gabbert doesn’t play like a sissy then the Jaguars could make a serious push for the title.

I think his analysis is perfectly in tune with the consensus here in Jacksonville.  No offense to Gabbert, but he needs to get some poise in the pocket, stand tall, and stand strong.  Jittery feet do not make a great quarterback.  While his situation wasn’t ideal last year, it has gotten considerably better for 2012.

When looking at the teams around the AFC South, I see the Texans beginning to slip from their perch atop the throne and slide to a more comparable level with the Jags and Titans.  It’s looking more and more probable that the division will be more up for grabs than it has been in years past – especially last year.
