To help you win one of your final matchups of the year, here are my Week 12 fantasy football players to start and sit:

Guys to Start:

QB Eli Manning, NYG (@ WSH) – Manning may only have three touchdowns in his last four games, but all three of them came last weekend. He has finally turned the corner on his mid-season slump and should be considered a great starter this weekend. He will easily eclipse 300 yards and 2 touchdowns in the game against an overaggressive Washington secondary.

RB Beanie Wells, ARI (@ NYJ) – Wells scored twice last week in his return to action, so expect another solid outing from him against a New York defense that is ranked 30th against the run.

WR Brandon Marshall, CHI (vs. SEA) – Seattle’s secondary is looming with uncertainty, so expect Marshall to torch them as home.

TE Owen Daniels, HOU (@ TEN) – Daniels has scored a touchdown in three of his last four games and has become Matt Schaub’s favorite red zone option.

Guys to Sit:

QB Joe Flacco, BAL (vs. PIT) – Flacco only has one multi-touchdown game in his last eight performances. Now factor in that he plays a tough Pittsburgh defense in Week 13, and it would be wise to leave him on the bench once again.

RB Marshawn Lynch, SEA (@ CHI) – Lynch had four straight 100-yard games before being held to 46 yards on 19 carries last week against the Dolphins. Lynch will have another rough game against an elite Chicago defense, so do not expect much more than 60 rushing yards.

WR Greg Jennings, GB (vs. MIN) – Jennings will most likely return this weekend, but it is better to wait one more week before starting him.

TE Heath Miller, PIT (@ BAL) – The Steelers are down to their third-string quarterback, Charlie Batch, so do not expect many fantasy points from any Pittsburgh players this weekend.

To help you set your final lineup this weekend, here are my week 11 fantasy football players to start and sit:

Guys to Start:

QB Carson Palmer, OAK (vs. NO) – Palmer plays a Saints’ defense that has given up 19 passing touchdowns on the year.

RB Steven Jackson, STL (vs. NYJ) – Jackson went over 100 yards rushing for the first time last week and has scored in two of his last three games. Expect him to have a big game against a New York defense that is allowing over 145 yards against per contest.

WR Jordy Nelson, GB (@ DET) – Nelson will be back in the lineup for the cheeseheads, so make sure he is in your fantasy lineup this weekend.

TE Heath Miller, PIT (vs. BAL) – With Ben Roethlisberger out this weekend, Byron Leftwich will get the start. Miller is having a great season, so expect the veteran quarterback to look for the tight end often in the middle of the field.

Guys to Sit:

QB Joe Flacco, BAL (@ PIT) – Flacco has officially cooled off after a very strong start, so expect him to continue to struggle against the always tough Pittsburgh secondary.

RB Vick Ballard, IND (@ NE) – Ballard has looked impressive in his brief time as a starter, but he has a tough matchup against a stout Patriots’ front-seven.

WR James Jones, GB (@ DET) – With Jordy Nelson coming back this week and Randall Cobb becoming a fantasy monster, there will not be many balls to go to Jones this Sunday.

TE Vernon Davis, SF (vs. CHI) – The Bears’ defense is playing outstanding this season, so expect Davis to have a rather pedestrian afternoon.

The second week of the fantasy football season is already upon us, so millions of people will be setting their lineups over the next several days. Before hitting the submit button on your lineup, make sure to check out my week 2 fantasy football players to start and sit:

Guys to Start:

QB Andy Dalton, CIN (vs. CLE) – The sophomore will look much better against the depleted Browns’ secondary this weekend.

RB Ahmad Bradshaw, NYG (vs. TB) – Last week Bradshaw showed that he is the new number one back in New York, so expect a giant performance from him against a lack-luster Bucs’ defense.

WR DeSean Jackson, PHI (vs. BAL) – The Ravens’ defensive backs are not getting any younger, so Philadelphia will be utilizing Jackson’s speed all game long.

TE Jared Cook, TEN (@SD) – Cook is an amazing athlete, and the youngster will terrorize the Chargers’ aging linebackers this weekend.

IDP: Kyle Arrington, NE (vs. ARI) – With Arizona likely turning back to Kevin Kolb as the starter this weekend, expect the New England secondary to have more than a couple chances to pick off some passes.

Guys to Sit:

QB Joe Flacco, BAL (@PHI) – After one miracle week, many people have already voted for Flacco into the 2012 Pro Bowl. Just wait until after he plays the aggressive Philadelphia Eagles’ defense until you vote.

RB Jonathan Dwyer, PIT (vs. NYJ) – Dwyer had the best week one performance among all the Pittsburgh running backs. However, it will obviously be a running-back-by-committee offense in the Steel City, so be hesitant to start any of the team’s running backs.

WR Robert Meachem, SD (vs. TEN) – Rivers loves to spread the ball around, but he may not look Meachem’s way too often with standout corner, Jason McCourty, blanketing the new number one receiver.

TE Brandon Pettigrew, DET (@SF) – The “Teachers Pet” will be taken to school this weekend by Patrick Willis and the boys.

IDP: Calais Campbell, ARI – Campbell will have a tough time getting to New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, this weekend.
