Jaguars’ New Uniforms Revealed (PHOTOS)

It’s finally here, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ new uniform. And it’s great. Ok, you don’t have to take my word for it. Check out these photos.

The Jaguars have to start winning now that they have some great uniforms. These are much better than last year’s all black unis that they unveiled midway through the season when they changed their color scheme. The new-look uniforms are far more cohesive looking and don’t make the players look like they’re trying to blend in with the background. These players pop, even with all the emphasis on it being a “stealth” look.

I’m really sold on the way these turned out. I think they give the Jaguars a fresh take on the new regime and new direction they are taking the team. Further, these uniforms are bold and embody the mentality and culture that Gus Bradley brings to the team as head coach. Owner Shahid Khan was heavily involved in the design process, but these uniforms really remind me more of Bradley. They fit perfectly.

New Jaguars Uniforms: What Do You Think?

The Jacksonville Jaguars have some slick new duds and it’s pretty awesome. This team has had a palpable excitement hanging around it since the offseason began and it all comes together with these uniforms.

Personally I’m really partial to the alternate teal, but I’ve been a fan of the Jags’ teal for a while now. Which one is your favorite?

The best part about all of this, however, may just be the change. It’s a fresh take on what it means to be a Jaguar and it couldn’t come at a better time. The team needs to move past the 2-14 season from last year and that’s exactly what these uniforms are going to do for them. How do you guys feel about them?

New Jaguars Uniforms Are Bold, Fresh

The Jacksonville Jaguars may not have the talent to live up to their new uniforms. At least not in the first year of the rebuild. Nike really reinvented the way the Jaguars look revolving mostly around the idea of a jaguar hunting from out of the shadows. On the whole, it looks really good. I’m pleased with the way it all came together. These are some fierce unis.

The part that really embodies the vision that Nike was trying to convey to me is the helmet. The helmet is super powerful and shows that shadow to light movement that they were going for as the jaguar pounces. I really like the helmet with the new logo. I expected the logo to be a little bigger, but I’m totally fine with the way it came out.

Another major change that I feel stands out is the font for the numbers and lettering. The lines are sharp and fresh. They convey a quick movement that’s really appealing to my eye. Like the helmet, I think the font – the numbers in particular – were a homerun in trying to convey their vision.

The alternate uniforms are also fantastic looking. The teal color os really bold and pops away from the black. It gives the players a sleek look that will translate really well to both the camera and those of us in the fans. I’m not as pleased with the away look, but it’s still good. The teal and home black were just much more sleek looking to me while the white seemed a little blocky.
