The most hated man in Jacksonville has been sent packing, never to return. Matt Turk was released today and replaced by punter Nick Harris, who most recently spent eight seasons with the Detroit Lions. Turk has likely played his last down of NFL football, after a truly disastrous preseason and five games with the Jaguars, where he committed every cardinal sin a punter can commit including: shanks, booming it into the endzone, failing to make tackles, wearing stupid looking shoulder pads and a tight jersey, having a fake tan, and being an asshole to the hometown fans. It was a panicked and impulsive signing by the Jaguars after Adam Podlesh left hastily for the Chicago Bears when they offered him more money and stroked his tiny ego by making him feel “wanted”.
