]]> Fred Taylor’s season has ended with a thumb injury and Greg Jones’s season is over with an ankle injury.  This added with the losses at the Offensive Line, Matt Jones suspension and Rashean Mathis’s injury means that we will be seeing an extremely diminished team on Sunday.  Fred Taylor said in a press conference today that he looked forward to returning to the team next year and that he was prepared to take a pay count and more limited role to come back to Jacksonville.  

The Jaguars signed defensive tackle Atiyyah Ellison from the 49ers practice squad, promoted cornerback Isaih Gardner from our practive squad and resigned running back Alvin Pearman to fill these spots.  Alvin Pearman?  Really?  Is that what we have been reduced to?  Expect Sunday’s game to be something of a second Preseason for the Jaguars, especially in the running game.  Maurice Jones-Drew and Chauncey Washington should split carries.
