Black and Teal is a web site dedicated to the fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team. The web is a great avenue to share and exchange team information as many fans are spread across the globe. Some are on temporary assignment in the military, others travel a  lot, and other live somewhere else, so we seek to keep people informed no matter where you are.

If you are a Jaguar fan, you know that indepth analysis of the team just doesn’t exist in many places. The fan blog sites are the only place dedicated to providing a constant daily discussion of the team. For example, Big Cat Country is a wonderful site with great content and a huge following. Black and Teal will be a brother in the online space and will remain close to the online community. You can find the Big Cat Country articles in the BCC Brothers page. So why have a different blog site? Good question, Black and Teal has a different mission.

We recognizes that a team can take the fans on a roller coaster ride of emotions during a season.   Frequently people use the web to express their emotions about the team and maybe life in general. So rather than sinking into sarcasm and name calling and firing the coach at each loss, we will seek first to understand and then enlighten, if we can. We seek to entertain and to bring hope and a smile. We seek to make you think.

This doesn’t mean we won’t approach hard subjects and challenge, we will.  If people need to step up, we will say it. If people are doing great, we will applaud them. But we will always recognize that it is a game being played for our entertainment. We will always recognize that having ther Jaguars here in Jacksonville makes us special. We simply want to enjoy having the NFL in our city.

Here at Black and Teal we believe the next great player is coming soon. We believe the boys will come together and get on a win streak. We believe Gene Smith is a great General Manager and Wayne Weaver is a great owner. We believe players and coaches come and go, but we will remain the constant, we will remain in our seats cheering the team on. We are here to be the fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
