Jacksonville Jaguars Week 13 Power Rankings: Dead Last

facebooktwitterreddit

The Jacksonville Jaguars hit rock bottom this past Sunday as they were soundly defeated 23-3 by the AFC South leading Indianapolis Colts. While the defense had an encouraging outing, the Jaguars were absolutely abysmal on offense, and the clear regression being shown by Blake Bortles is becoming a central concern.

With the Oakland Raiders nabbing their first win against a quality Kansas City Chiefs squad this week, it’s not surprising to see the Jaguars ranked dead last by most analysts.

Here’s where the Jaguars fell in some of the power rankings around the web:

"32. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-10)Last week: L at IND 3-23Last rank: 31st"

"The Jaguars lost again, what else is new. This time it was in pretty convincing fashion to the Indianapolis Colts. With the Oakland Raiders winning, that has moved them into the last spot in the power rankings."

FOXSports – Dan Schneier

"32. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (1-10) HIGH: 28 / LOW: 32At times this season, the defense in Gus Bradley’s scheme has clicked, but for the most part they are devoid of talent throughout the entire roster. Going forward, it’s all about evaluating Blake Bortles and the young skill position players."

ESPN.com

"32. JaguarsJacksonville’s last in points scored and points allowed. Teams cannot do worse than that, but the Jaguars will always have that Week 7 win over the Browns (and maybe the first pick)."

CBS Sports – Pete Prisco

"32. JaguarsThey just aren’t making any progress. Forget the victories. They need progress."

CBS Sports – Pat Kirwan

"32. Jaguars (31):Gus Bradley is finding out just how tough rebuilding the Jaguars is and the owner can’t be impatient with this project. They have three home games left and it would be great to win at least one of them."

NFL.com – Elliot Harrison

"32. JaguarsAnother dismal day for Blake Bortles. Another blowout loss for the Jaguars. And another lost season for Jacksonville. That city deserves a better football team than this."
