Allen Hurns, Wide Receiver, Rookie Year

The rookie from Miami has lit up opposing defenses all preseason long. His 14 receptions for 232 yards and a score are leaps and bounds ahead of where the rest of the Jaguars’ wide receiving corps is at currently. He has developed a great rapport with the Jaguars’ quarterbacks and he has gone from a long shot to make the roster to a virtual lock heading into final cuts. It will be interesting to see how Hurns can stack up against first string defenses when he takes his reps throughout a whole game and whether teams have taken note of his ability to beat secondaries throughout the preseason.
