For the 4th year in a row, the NFL has invited former players from each team to the draft to announce the 2nd round selections for their former squads. While everyone focuses on the 1st round leading up to the draft, there is still a lot of excitement leading up to day 2.
This year, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be represented by recently retired veteran center Brad Meester.

Appropriately enough, Meester was a 2nd round pick of the Jaguars in the 2000 NFL Draft. Meester started 209 games over the course of his career and spent all 14 of his NFL seasons with the Jaguars. He also played for all of the head coaches in Jacksonville Jaguars history: Tom Coughlin, Jack Del Rio, Mel Tucker, Mike Mularkey, and Gus Bradley.
In the three previous drafts, the Jaguars had equally prominent players announce their 2nd round pick.
2011 – Donovan Darius, safety
2012 – Fred Taylor, running back
2013 – Mark Brunell, quarterback
Brad Meester is in good company, as all three of the previous players who went to Radio City Music Hall are considered some of the best in franchise history. Fittingly enough, there is a decent chance Meester could be announcing his replacement at center if the Jaguars decide to take Marcus Martin or Weston Richburg.
