What Jacksonville should do with the third overall pick has certainly been analyzed up and down, round and round and in just about any way imaginable. Some believe the Jaguars should go quarterback. Bridgewater, Bortles or Manziel. The argument can be made for any of the three. Others think Jacksonville would be better served by going with Jadaveon Clowney or Khalil Mack, improving a putrid pass rush.

Any way you look at it, getting someone who can play quarterback or who can get to the quarterback is top priority. However, with 11 picks in the 2014 draft, this year’s rookie class will be defined not only by what Caldwell does with the third overall pick, but with all 7 rounds.

Building through the draft has been and will continue to be key in rebuilding this roster. Let’s highlight a few options for the mid to late rounds shall we?

*The middle round QBs have been discussed almost as much as the 3rd pick, so for the sake of originality I have left them off this post.
