The Jacksonville Jaguars continue their draft evaluations on Thursday at the Georgia pro day where there are a handful of draftable players. The biggest name working out will be senior quarterback Aaron Murray.
#Jaguars HC Gus Bradley is at Aaron Murray’s pro day today. Murray was also on the South Team at Senior Bowl, though he didn’t play.

Murray is coming off of an injury and that likely is affecting his draft stock. Regardless, Murray has a host of other issues that are keeping him from being a first or second round prospect. Besides being traditionally undersized for the position, Murray has a lot of questions about his overall athleticism and tools. His arm seems strong enough and he’s supposedly a fiend in the classroom, but the lack of noticeable improvement from year-to-year in college is somewhat concerning.
Nonetheless, David Caldwell and company are likely going to do their due diligence and host Aaron Murray at some point.

Murray isn’t a top prospect in my book, but I wouldn’t mind selecting him in day 3 as someone who could potentially be an effective backup.
