” Browner. I’m just going to let this sink in for a minute…………………………………………………………..

Now, I realize that David Caldwell is building this team throughout the draft and inexpensive FA, which is great but if there was a FA to spend big on it would be Browner. Brandon Browner became the great cornerback that he is today in the same system the Gus Bradley is developing in Jacksonville today, which could be a very sweet homecoming for everyone.

Browner may not cost an arm and a leg, probably just one limb. Browner will be 30 by the time of training camp next season, which may cause he price to drop, but ever so slightly. In addition, Seattle will be needing to pay more attention to their salary cap with Richard Sherman being due a new contract in the near future, and we all know he will cost the Duggers their first ten children.

The young talent on the Jaguars defense is developing very nicely so far this season. Dwayne Gratz should develop into a top flight cornerback when he returns from injury, or so we hope. Yet if Josh Evans, Jonathan Cyprien, and Demetrius McCray are any indiction, Bradley and Caldwell know how to pick them. However, adding a Pro Bowler like Browner would set the Jaguars’ defense on the fast track to eliteness. With the development of the rookies this season, the proven veterans like Browner and Poz, and the addition of a certain QB with the initials of T.B. next season could look a lot brighter for the Jags.

So lets hope that this off season Browner gets tried of the rain in Seattle and packs his bags for Duval sunshine.
