The Jacksonville Jaguars dominated the power rankings around the web after their dismal week 1 performance, and their poor showing in Oakland against the Raiders didn’t change their prospects too much. Here are some snippets from power rankings around the web.
32. If the 49ers managed three points against Seattle, what will Jacksonville do? The Jags have a league-low 11 points this season and haven’t gained 250 yards in a game.
32. Does it matter who plays quarterback? This team lacks talent on the roster. It’s going to be a long season. Can they go winless?
32. It’s getting more difficult to pen something positive about the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have lost 14 of their last 15 games. Perhaps most disheartening is the fact that even Maurice Jones-Drew couldn’t get going (10 rushing attempts for 27 yards) against the Raiders on Sunday. Receiver Cecil Shorts (eight catches for 93 yards) continues to be a bright spot.
Coach Gus Bradley has to find more players who are willing to work as hard as Shorts and lay it on the line like MJD has so many times, because right now, no one can say this isn’t the worst football team in the NFL. Some of us would like to see the Jags be competitive.
32. A crowd of fans, approximately six, gathered outside the stadium to urge Jacksonville to sign Tim Tebow. It’s sad. But the Jaguars really are that bad this season. Not bad enough to take on that distraction though.
Fansided: 32. Jacksonville Jaguars
