Black and Teal is gearing up for the season by putting out the call to all Jacksonville Jaguars fans looking for a fun and creative outlet for their passion. Whether you’ve written about the team before or want to try it for the first time, Black and Teal is looking to expand the staff and invites you to apply for a spot on the site’s staff.

Open positions come in two forms:

Staff Writer – This is the perfect opportunity for a fan looking for a platform to offer their thoughts on the team at least once per week. Staff writers currently aren’t paid but may be able to advance based on ability and available opportunities.

Co-Editor – If you’re a solid writer with visions of directing one of the best Jaguars blogs out there, this is your chance. FanSided editors maintain a minimum of a post per day average while overseeing the site’s staff of writers and social media accounts. Not only is this a lot of fun and sets the editor up to be an authoritative voice on their team, this is also a revenue sharing position.

Ricki Stanzi will the starting quarterback for the Jags in the near future. You don’t create a leader, an individual either has it or does not.
Ricki Stanzi has the ability and true leadership skills to not only start but to be an effective quarterback in the NFL. He needs a realistic opportunity and he will produce.
The Jags fans will love him in time.

Hard to tell, what I can say is that the last 2 seasons were among the worst the chiefs have had in my lifetime at the qb position and stanzi was still unable to record a snap in a reg season game. We had high hopes for him after he was drafted out of Iowa, but his preseason production was just awful. My best comparison of late would have to be bray, undrafted, since they were both 3rd on the depth chart. But, let me tell you, that’s where the similarities end. Bray looked far better in his rookie preseason than stanzi ever did as a chief. I do believe, however, henne will prove to be the most popular guy in Jax, if he isn’t already. Lol. Best of luck to you guys and your team in the future!
