The Miami Dolphins will be traveling upstate a bit to Jacksonville, Florida to face off against the Jaguars in Miami’s second of five preseason games. While it’s likely that both teams will not play their starters for more than a series or two, there are a few interesting things to keep an eye on tomorrow evening.
There’s a very good chance we’ll get to see two of the top-3 players in this year’s draft go up against each other, as Jordan may very well be lined up over Joeckel, and we’ll get to see the highest-drafted defensive lineman square-off against the arguably the best offensive tackle in this class. Joeckel hopes to solidify an offensive line that gave up 50 sacks last season.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have spend the past week in training camp, installing a brand new offense and a brand new defensive scheme under new head coach Gus Bradley. It’s a brand new regime all-around and could wind up being a roster with more than 50 percent turnover when all is said and done.
The Jaguars get their first chance Friday night to show if their revamped defensive line can improve their anemic pass rush.
