Chad Henne is pleased with the quarterback competition in Jacksonville

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne has admitted that the off-season training drills have assured him that he will have a big part to play in the 2013 offence.

Henne said that he has confidence that he can improve on his performances last season and that he will be given a chance to do so.

Austen Lane is done with the black and teal

Lane, a fifth-round draft pick out of Murray State in 2010, played in 28 games with 16 starts. He had 103 tackles and three sacks. He became expendable with the emergence of second-year player Andre Branch and the move of defensive tackle Tyson Alualu to end.
