Marcus Trufant, formerly of the Seattle Seahawks, is visiting the Jaguars on Tuesday

This late in free agency, a free agent visit is only going to take place if the team is serious about making a move. Trufant played under Jaguars coach Gus Bradley for the last three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. Trufant was drafted 11th overall by the Seahawks back in 2003.

NFL.com’s “draft fallout” for the Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars didn’t see a no-brainer franchise quarterback available, which means Blaine Gabbertis entering a make-or-break season. The coaching staff is counting on Gabbert to have more time to throw this season, as Luke Joeckel and Eugene Monroe potentially form one of the league’s top offensive tackle duos.

The White House petition asking President Barack Obama to force the Jaguars to sign Tim Tebow has been pulled.  The media frenzy, unfortunately, has not abated

A notice on the website Monday stated the petition was yanked “because it is in violation of our terms of participation.” The website’s require that petitions “address a problem, support or oppose a proposal, or otherwise change or continue federal government policy or actions.”
