Ace Sanders is a dangerous player who is going to to be a playmaker for the Jacksonville Jaguars both on offense and on special teams.  He’s quicker than he is fast and makes tacklers miss.  The 2013 NFL Draft has given the Jaguars some great picks and the fourth round is no exception.

Sanders didn’t do super well at the combine, running a 4.5 40-yard dash and only seven reps in the bench press.  At just 5’7″ he is going to be a bit undersized but looks to fill in at the slot for the Jaguars.  He was highly productive for the South Carolina Gamecocks, catching nine touchdowns in his final college season to go with two punt returns for touchdowns.

I like the Sanders pick.  He’s the first non-starter the Jaguars have selected but he will be a crucial role player for the team in his first year.  Sanders also gives the Jaguars some competition at wide receiver which is good.  Combining Sanders with Jordan Shipley, Mohamed Massaquoi, Justin Blackmon, and Cecil Shorts III gives the Jaguars a solid receiving corps.
