University of Michigan’s Denard Robinson got the call from the Jacksonville Jaguars and was promptly photobombed on live television. The guy’s face is fantastic, he looks more excited than some first round draft picks who get to come out and hug commissioner Roger Goodell.
Seriously, Robinson is going to be a complex weapon for the Jaguars and it’s finally nice to get dynamic playmakers. The four-year drought during the Gene Smith era is being reversed in just one draft, which is great. Most of us fans were making faces like the man above purely because of the superb fourth and fifth round picks for the Jaguars, South Carolina receiver Ace Sanders and Robinson, respectively.
Stoked to have better players on the offense. With Luke Joeckel at right tackle, some dynamic players like Robinson and Sanders, the weapons and support are in place to make sure the Jaguars can discover if Blaine Gabbert is the answer and, if not, they can bring in a young replacement who can be effective immediately.
