If: Running back Maurice Jones-Drew returns at 100 percent and resumes his place amongst the league’s best running backs. The franchise’s all-time leader in total touchdowns scored ran for 414 yards in his first six games in 2012 before being lost for the season. Unfortunately for the Jaguars, Jones-Drew still wound up leading the club in rushing yardage. As a team last year, Jacksonville totaled 1,369 yards on the ground. In 2011, Jones-Drew led the league with 1,606 yards rushing.
Could Luke Joeckel fall to the Jaguars? If he does, do you take him?
Joeckel said his only visit on the draft trail was to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags likely won’t have a chance to pick Joeckel though because many are projecting Kansas City to take the left tackle with their first pick.
One thought is with Blaine Gabbert being inconsistent, Geno Smith could be a target. It also could be offensive tackle Eric Fisher of Central Michigan or Luke Joeckel of Texas A&M.
