The Stabley Times says the Jaguars will get desperate in the draft and pick Geno Smith
"The new Jaguars regime doesn’t have much to work with in general on its roster. But after a couple years of Blaine Gabbert showing he’s probably not the answer, expect the Jags to reach with the number two pick for quarterback Geno Smith. He’s not quite worthy of the #2 pick, but then again, he’s the top quarterback prospect in this superstar-free draft."
Vito Stellino says GM Dave Caldwell needs a good eye for talent…which is implied because he’s already GM
"If Caldwell is to be a success, he is going to have to have a better touch in the draft than the last two men to hold the position — James “Shack’’ Harris and Gene Smith."

"Based on scheme fit and need, other players I’ll be paying specific attention to for the Jaguars in the rest of the draft are Sio Moore, Sanders Commings and Cooper Taylor. Depending on how the front office feels about the quarterback position, the Jaguars have shown interest in Geno Smith in the first round or Ryan Nassib in the second. If they do not take either, they’ll probably look to add Landry Jones or Ryan Griffin later in the draft."
