NFL Draft Day Attendees: Which Players Are Going To Be Featured Live?

facebooktwitterreddit

The NFL Draft is just 22 days away and a sense of trepidation builds in every fan’s chest as the clock clicks closer and closer until their team is ready to make a selection.  That feeling of uncertainty and suspense is nothing compared to the feelings being felt by the first round prospects invited to the draft.  They huddle in the back awaiting phone calls with their family and friends.  Some cry as they get selected, others sit patiently ticking through teams as they slide lower and lower in the first round.  They wait around simply for the opportunity to shake the commissioners hand, hold up a #1 jersey, and don a hat with their new team name on it.

Well, the drama of the NFL Draft begins now with the release of the current invitees to sit in the back room and let their concerns play across their faces for the nation to watch.  Here’s who is attending as of March 3rd:

  • Barkevious Mingo, Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, LSU
  • Bjoern Werner, Defensive End, Florida State
  • Chance Warmack, Guard, Alabama
  • Cordarrelle Patterson, Wide Receiver, Tennessee
  • Dee Milliner, Cornerback, Alabama
  • DJ Fluker, Offensive Tackle, Alabama
  • EJ Manuel, Quarterback, Florida State
  • Eric Fisher, Offensive Tackle, Central Michigan
  • Ezekial Ansah, Defensive End, BYU
  • Geno Smith, Quarterback, West Virginia
  • Jonathan Cooper, Guard, North Carolina
  • Kenny Vaccaro, Safety, Texas
  • Lane Johnson, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma
  • Luke Joeckel, Offensive Tackle, Texas A&M
  • Margus Hunt, Defensive End, SMU
  • Menelik Watson, Offensive Tackle, Florida State
  • Sharrif Floyd, Defensive Tackle, Florida
  • Tavon Austin, Wide Receiver, West Virginia
  • Xavier Rhodes, Cornerback, Florida State

There may be more players added to this list as time continues on.  There were 26 players who attended during last year’s draft.  I’m looking forward to seeing these big men have their future close to secured at such a young age.
