Jaguars’ New Video Boards: 42,000 Square Feet

It’s the wrong sport, but these guys aren’t celebrating soccer anyway. These guys are celebrating the massive video boards that are coming to Everbank Field!…that and sports…and maybe soccer.  Source: US-Presswire

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been planning to bring in the league’s largest video boards since earlier this year.  They are planning to outstrip the other teams by a wide margin.  Apparently that margin is 16,000 square feet.  The proposed size broke from Jacksonville Giants’ TV and Radio voice Richard Miller’s Twitter.  He cites a “reliable source.”

If this all turns out to be true, then the Jags will certainly have cemented themselves as a destination in the NFL.  It will be interesting to see if the Jags can manage to attract enough people to remove the tarps over some of the seats.  It would be nice to have a truly full stadium once again.

The video boards may be in as soon as 2014.
