Jacksonville Jaguars Free Agents 2013: A Rundown

With NFL Free Agency beginning on Sunday and legal tampering beginning on Saturday, it’s important to understand just who the Jaguars could have leaving in 2013.  While the team is in negotiations with center Brad Meester and fullback Greg Jones, the Jacksonville Jaguars have not tendered offers to their restricted free agents and will likely not pursue offers with a numbers of their players set to hit free agency on Monday.

Here is a list of those who may leave during free agency starting Monday:

Unrestricted Free Agents

  • Eben Britton, OL
  • Derek Cox, CB
  • Rashad Jennings, RB
  • Greg Jones, FB
  • Terrance Knighton, DT
  • Rashean Mathis, CB
  • Brad Meester, C
  • Willian Middleton, CB
  • Antwuan Molden, CB
  • Jordan Palmer, QB
  • Jalen Parmele, RB
  • Daryl Smith, LB
  • Steve Vallos, OL

Restricted Free Agents (Now to become UFAs)

  • Brock Bolen, FB
  • Kyle Bosworth, LB
  • John Estes, OL
  • Zach Potter, TE
  • George Selvie, DE
  • Jordan Shipley, WR

I was expecting them to pursue a couple more players, particularly RFAs Shipley and Potter, but the new regime obviously does not like the look of the current roster enough to keep them.  This will be a massive overhaul this year and it all starts on Monday.
