NFL.com released the strength of schedule for all 32 teams heading into the 2013 season. The Jacksonville Jaguars look to have the 12th toughest schedule, based on 2012 results. The Jags’ strength of schedule is .508, tying them with the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots. The Carolina Panthers have the toughest schedule for the season and the Denver Broncos have the easiest schedule (as if they needed a break in trying to reach the Super Bowl).
2013 Jaguars opponents finished 129-125-2 in 2012. Interestingly, the two ties – St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers tied each other once and are both on the Jags’ schedule – give the same weight as one win for both the Bengals and Pats who face teams totally 130-126.
