Nike’s New Jacksonville Jaguars Uniforms: New Logo, More Gold Expected

The change to black mid-season was cool but not really the full update the Jags expect for 2013.  Source: Rob Foldy-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been due new uniforms from Nike as one of the first teams to be upgraded.  This season they transitioned to all black uniforms that look pretty good, but they have been waiting for a full revamp like the Seattle Seahawks got for the 2012 season.  It was rumored that the Jaguars were going black for 2013, but now it sounds like they’re going to be getting a bit of gold as well.

Yes, Pete, we do care.  Well at least those of us who love the Jaguars.

The Jags will be getting a revamp with a new logo and color scheme, but they won’t be alone.  The Miami Dolphins are also getting an upgrade.  The state of Florida will be among the best dressed in the NFL for the 2013 season…at least if some of these designs aren’t used.
