The Jacksonville Jaguars are decidedly in rebuilding mode once again and, as good as that is for a 2-14 team, there will be growing pains to go along with that.
To talk about the jump from high school to college to the pros, Maurice Jones-Drew and actor/comedian Tracy Morgan sat down with SiriusXM’s Shade 45 Channel. They talked about training for greatness and what it takes.
Tracy Morgan sounds pretty knowledgable throughout the entire thing leading to MJD offering him a position as his running backs coach.
It will take time for the other Jags players to get on the same page as veterans like Jones-Drew and Marcedes Lewis, but it will be a growing experience that should yield results. As the rebuild continues, we will see more and more players added to the puzzle as it is slowly solved. This may take five years, this may take two years. If history has anything to do with it, it will likely take four to six season until the Jags have enough talent and experience to compete regularly for a Super Bowl.
