Every year we have the same two problems. The Offensive line is bad and the Defensive line is bad. I am sick of it so we are going to fix one of the two problems. This draft we are fixing the Offensive line.
How you say? We are drafting the entire Alabama offensive line. All of them. Here is how it goes down:
Round 1: We are taking Chance Warmack – no questions asked
Round 2: We are taking Barrett Jones – Easy choice
Round 3: We are taking DJ Fluker
Round 4; We are taking Mario Benavides – Why? I ran out of Alabama guys to draft and we need a center.
But Terry, why the Alabama line? They already play together. They don’t need any coaching on how to work as a unit. It will be a quick fix and from what I can see, a decent fix. I am so sick of watching Eben Britton help the QB up that this is a must. Put the entire unit on the team and let’s move on.
After that, whoever the new GM is, he can pick whoever he wants. By the way, I would keep Gene Smith. I would put him in charge of scouting small schools and undrafted players. He is under contract anyway.
Ok, draft done, Jaguars fixed. Thanks for tuning in.
