Who's trying to sell anything to anyone? I don't see how a team that is, as you say, a disaster could go and compete with is widely considered to be one of the better teams in the league in the Packers the way they did. I didn't even get a chance to watch the game, but everyone from the team to the fans seemed to believe that it was a good showing for where the team is headed. No one was satisfied with a loss, but the fact is that it was still a good showing that if everyone plays up to their ability for a full 4 quarters that we can compete with anyone. Yes, the first few games of the season were disappointing to watch, but as it stands at the moment, calling the team a disaster doesn't seem to be general outlook of a majority of those who closely follow the team.
