The big problem here is most of us are tired of seeing the team lose and that, in turn, leads to impatience and an "If we don't win NOW the sky will fall" mentality. I will say 2 things that I believe are written in stone. 1. Shad Kahn is not Wayne Weaver, he WILL NOT let ineptitude and mediocrity to be the trademark of this team for long. He will right the ship before its too late. 2. The GM of this team is 95% of the problem. Gene Smith is firmly to blame for the lack of legitimate NFL talent on this roster. These players are his guys now, and while they have heart and desire, they just don't have the talent! So, until he is gone we will remain mediocre. We need a real GM and not an average scout! Good read!
