I don't think that qualifies the Colts as "being in control throughout". The Colts won but they squeaked it out in the last 30 seconds of the game. This was a game that was on its way to overtime and could have gone either way, the Colts just happened to Luck up at the end and pull it out. This was not a "measuring stick" win. Until that last second drive at the very end Luck had only thrown for about 180 yards and they finished with about 70 total yards on the ground, not exactly a dominant performance. Your entire theory of trying to measure these three teams against one another based on who beat who is entirely flawed. The resurgence of the Vikings would have been a nice sized comeback. Not to mention that the loss was big because they could be 3-0 right now rather than 2-1 (not that that isn't a bad thing).
