We didn't shut down Andre Johnson though. They just chose to use a gameplan that didn't include a regular dose of Johnson.

Hey not a lot of good to take away from yesterday, Carson. If you REALLY have to compare Drew Brees to Blaine Gabbert...I'm sorry. There is no comparison. Saints will be OK because of Brees. What I said is a very simple (and VERY TRUE) statement. The Saints are 0-2. The Jags took a huge step backwards yesterday, you're absolutely right. Will they be OK? If they keep doing what they did yesterday...no way.
Maybe you should just become a Saints fan like all the cool kids did a few years ago. Or maybe you can just pull for the Texans when they get hot this year (because they will). It will be a lot easier right?
Or maybe you can become a coach. It sounds like you'd be a great QB coach. Just tell them to, "be like Brees."
Just bustin' your chops. I really hope you can take a joke. You mad bro?

The difference between the Saints and the Jags? The Saints QB isn’t afraid to throw the ball down field. When Blaine “nuts up”, plants his front foot, and spins the ball downfield is when our WRs have a chance to make a play and score some points.(see play to Shorts in week 1 and Robinson yesterday) Gabbert took a big step backwards yesterday. On more than one occasion I watched him duck phantom DEs who weren’t there, and run out of pockets that weren’t yet closed. Hopefully he gets back to standing tall in the pocket and scanning through his reads soon...
