Scobee’s Four-Year, $13.8 Million Deal

The Jags and kicker Josh Scobee have a deal in place for the next four years.  While the team originally wanted a five year deal, they settled on four and made Scobee the second highest paid kicker with his multi-year contract and the third highest for 2012.

The team will pay Scobee $13.8 million over the four years with $4.75 million guaranteed via a $3.75 million signing bonus and $1 million first year pay.  The deal was finalized this morning.

Much thanks to the Jaguars front office and Scobee’s agent and Josh Scobee himself for coming back to play for the Black and Teal!  Thanks to Tania Ganguli for breaking the good news!
