@LukeNSims I’m on board with that trade. Honestly, with that trade, the skill positions on our team are definitely one of our strengths. Besides I guess Laurent Robinson and maybe an aging MJD, we don’t have any players that are truly explosive. Fulfills a huge need there.

@zsgowani Well the GM says he isn’t going to trade Harvin. To show his disappointment, Harvin just left camp. So they have a holdout that probably isn’t contractually related (except that his contract is tied to the Vikings).
If they do trade him, he has proven to be worth a first easily. His four touchdown returns and 30+ yard per return average (last season) is invaluable in itself. Plus his rushing, big frame, and ability to play very good receiver makes him worth a package deal.
If they start getting desperate, maybe ship Thomas a second and a fourth for him? The Florida climate will probably do him some good.

Assuming the Jags are interested of course.

This would be a DREAM scenario. The perfect slot receiver for this offense. Those little 5 yd curl/hitch/out routes run by Mike Thomas? The end-arounds he used to run? Imagine Harvin running those with his agility, toughness, and fast-twitch speed. It could bring a creative dimension to this team that we’ve been lacking in a long time. I don’t know what it would cost to get him, but I doubt the Jaguars would be willing to give it up. If you ask me, if it’s anything less than a first, they should.
