E3, MLB Draft, and Madden Kinect

Running around today you’ll note a lot of non-football related things going on.  The MLB Draft is occuring, locking in fresh young first year talent…once again proving that the NFL has truly made football America’s past time.  But when you’re desperate for sports, you’re desperate for sports.  If my Twins can turn themselves into a better team, then I’m game to watch or read anything.

E3 is also occuring from June 5-7, though analysis is already going on right now.  SPIKE TV is covering it all and makes the most interesting video game coverage you’ll get to watch all year.  The Electronic Entertainment Expo is drawing attention to anything and everything.  It is highlighting the new uses of Xbox, the Wii, and whatever Sony has to throw out there (which is apparently a lot).  XBox’s Kinect is making Madden ’13 a bit more interesting, highlighting the way you can play the fan favorite video game.

While Justin Blackmon news dominates the day for the Jacksonville Jaguars sites (B&T included), take a look around the web and see what’s going on.  It’s been a pretty busy day the world over.  For those of us that like to combine our video games and our sports news, it got an awful lot more fun this year.
