In a recent mock draft by Zoneblitz, B&T selected Justin Blackmon to go to the Jaguars at pick number seven. It was a match made in heaven. We made the case for it here on B&T back on April 16th.
Blackmon to the Jaguars just made sense for Jacksonville. Wide receiver was a huge need for the Jaguars, especially following a season when the team finished 32nd in the league in passing offense.
While a rookie quarterback was part of the problem, a lack of receiving targets also contributed to the anemic passing offense.
Blackmon helps solve that problem.
Right now, I’m just relieved to know that the Jaguars will have a better chance at passing with Blackmon lining up at wide receiver every Sunday.
WHEW!
