Hey B&T faithful! Luke suggested I write a quick introductory article about myself to give the staff and readers an idea of who the new guy is. Find out after the jump…
To start off, I’ll let everyone know what’s going on with me now. I’m currently a graduate student at Georgia Tech working on my first graduate degree. I graduated from the University of Florida a year ago and I just moved up to Hotlanta.
So how did I end up a Jaguars fan? Well, my family moved from Puerto Rico to Jacksonville in 1995 when I was a wee boy. I was fortunate enough to see the Jaguars’ inaugural season and the magical run to the playoffs in 1996 – the rest is history.
Outside of school and the gratuitous amount of time I spend following the Jaguars, I’m engaged to a girl who’s entirely too hot for me (what a sucker) and I’ve become somewhat of a beer enthusiast over the last year or so. So if you find a great brew let me know – I’m a sucker for IPAs (I’m having a Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye IPA as I write this).
I’ll sign off by thanking Luke and the rest of the Black and Teal staff for having me on board. Go Jags!
