Believe me, I know how fine Penn State is as an academic institution. Three professors that have taught me were Penn State alum or taught there previously. Of course I'm aware that a single incident like that doesn't characterize the entire student body at Penn State. I'm thrilled O'Brien went to Penn State, and I'm actually sorry so many Penn State alum were upset about his hiring. I though he was a fine candidate for the Jags job.
