I did my best to give a fair counter argument but as you can see below, all I got in return was a person attack. As I said, it doesn't bother me but I'm disappointed it came from a contributor of this site. Not that it matters at all but it doesn't affect my overall view of this site. But anyways, I agree with your comment. Especially good call on Mincey. Gene really had no reason to keep him around but it's obvious he has a talent in projecting a players progression which is the only reason I can think as to why Mince was given the chance to prove himself. What I take from this is that Gene puts a premium on potential. So more than likely, we won't see the best of his players until a few years in their career. Has been the case with Monroe and D. Cox so far.
