His QB rating in his 3 starts with a beat up demoralized team was 83 better than most starters on opening day. The colts, chiefs, and others sure could have used a full dose of Tebow inspiration and production . When a team is excited with a 2 pt victory over a rebuilding team there is major problems.

Because at the time, the Jaguars were set to move to California and an influx of Tebow fans would make it tougher to break the lease with Jacksonville. . .

That and/or Del Rio was simply blind sided by Garrard’s degradation.

Not taking Tebow WAS a mistake though… You can make the argument that Orton is better than Tebow right now in Denver (or at least before Orton’s suckage against Oakland). You can’t make that kind of argument in Jacksonville. Expecting Luke to be your hero is involves more pretending than that of Tebow lovers.
