Pride of the Jaguars: Fred Taylor Coverage

Fred Taylor has ceremoniously retired as a Jacksonville Jaguar and there a few players who have been as productive and beloved as #28. Fred was an insanely talented player, a rare combination of elusiveness, power, and pure speed, and finished his career with the 15th most rushing yards of all time. We will celebrate Fred’s career as a Jaguars, but from his words, it sounds as if he’s only turning the page. What’s next for Fred Taylor – be it professional coaching, mentoring, or simply being a part of the Pahokee, Jacksonville, and other Florida communities he’s been a part of, we don’t know – but we do know that he will likely be commemorated as the second inductee to the “Pride of the Jaguars” soon and will be remembered in Jacksonville for a long time.

Thank you for all you’ve done, Fred. It’s good to have you home.
