WR Nate Hughes and LB Eric Gordon were cut Monday, to make room for the arrival of Marcedes Lewis and the signing of UDFA OG Wade Grayson formerly of Arkansas. The departure of Hughes could indicate that the Jaguars are happy with the addition of Shorts to the current crop of starters from last year.

I have followed the Jaguars since day one and have been a season ticket holder since 2004. My football experience includes middle school (LB, OG, DL) and high school football (LB, FB, DL, TE, OG) and college intramural flag football (QB, everything). I like to call my general position, the anything but fast position.
Other sports background... I swam for three years, played some basketball and baseball in my youth, played soccer for my whole life (20+ years). I play tennis and I golf on occasion too.
